This hotel is beside the River Tay, a minute from Perth Museum and Horsecross Concert Hall. Rooms are en suite and many have views of the river and the hotel's award-winning gardens. The Royal George restaurant serves traditional Scottish food with river views. Fresh farm and local market ingredients are used. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, high tea and dinner served with daily specials. In the MacGregor Lounge Bar, choose from world wines, fine beers and over 50 Scottish malt whiskies and Scottish Gins. The sun lounge offers views of The River Tay and Perth Bridge. The hotel offers a complimentary fitness suite, with running machine, eSpinner bike, rowing machine and a selection of free weights, kettle bells and stretch mats, for the exclusive use of hotel guests. There is also and onsite residents games room, with free play pool table, gaming machine and table football. The Royal George is over 200 years old and was once visited by Queen Victoria.
