The Sherborne Lodge is situated in Ilfracombe, a pretty seaside resort on the North Devon coast, with rugged green cliffs and an Iron Age fort standing 115 metres above sea level. There is free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking on site. The light and airy breakfast room looks out over the patio, and the award-winning morning menu includes pork sausages and thick-cut bacon. Lighter options like pastries, cereal and fruit are also available. Rooms at The Sherborne Lodge have simple décor and come with a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Continental plug adaptors are available on request. The building is set in Torrs Park, a 10-minute walk from the town centre, with its variety of shops and restaurants. The cliff-top lift at Lynmouth is 40 minutes’ drive away.

Lynne and Laura would like to welcome you to The Sherborne Lodge, and will do our utmost to ensure your stay is relaxing and enjoyable.
We are quietly located at the start of Torrs Park, one of the best areas of Ilfracombe, centrally placed for a 5—10 minutes walk to all the local facilities. These include the town centre, with plenty of shops, great restaurants, pubs, beaches, bay and harbour. Verity, the famous and controversial Damian Hirst statue towers over the picturesque harbour from where you have the opportunity to take one of the many boat trips - to Lundy, along the coast, or even a day out fishing. The Damian Hirst effect has also seen an abundance of new gallaries openining up around the town. We are yards away from the coastal path with the most beautiful scenery for either a short stroll or perhaps walk to Woolacombe – there is bus to get you back! For the cyclists, we are also on route 27 so if you are starting out for a trip to Plymouth you will find a warm welcome.
Ilfracombe is ideally situated for business, leisure and sporting pursuits and is within easy reach of Barnstaple, several beautiful surfing beaches, wild and stunning Exmoor countryside, ...
