Located in Braunton, North Devon - The Skyeloft is our new tiny house that is built onto the side of our family home.
It has an open plan layout with a small kitchen and a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed which is accessed by a ladder. We have a comfy sofa and a flat screen TV for you to relax and a modern bathroom with a double shower. We have a double bed in the mezzanine and a sofa bed in the lounge area, which can be made up on request. Please ask for this service in advance so we can ensure we leave additional bedding out.
There is an outdoor space and secure storage along with free secure parking on our driveway. A hot shower is located outside which is great after a day at the beach!
Hi! We are Chris and Charl and we moved to Devon 6 years ago from the Midlands.
The Skyeloft was lovingly built by Chris, who is a builder by trade, in 2023.
Charl has worked in Education for 25 years and we have a 9 year old daughter, whom The Skyeloft is named after.
We live in the a joined property and love living in North Devon! Our interests include walking, biking, sea swimming, beach exploring, hill climbing, surfing and watching the sea!!
The Skyeloft is situated in Braunton, which is a vibrant village in North Devon with plenty of places to eat out, pubs to enjoy a drink, cafes to have a coffee and shops to browse! We are 5 minutes from Braunton village, 8 minutes from Saunton sands and 10 minutes from Croyde! Woolacombe is less than a 20 minute drive and Exmoor lies just 15 miles away.
The Skyeloft is located to the side of our property at the top of a cul de sac. There is no through traffic making it very quiet and peaceful.
Braunton Burrows and The Great Field can be accessed from the end of the road making a beautiful, quiet setting for you stay.
Bikes are a great way to get around the area. We are right on the Tarka Trail which stretches from Ilfracombe to mid Devon and is part of the Coast to Coast cycle route.
There are many super walks around the village and further afield including Braunton Burrows, Baggy Point in Croyde and Morte Point near Woolacombe.
The South west Coast Path runs very close to the property so we are perfect for walkers who are taking on the trail!
