The hotel is situated within 30 minutes’ drive from Southampton, Bournemouth and Portsmouth. The New Forest Museum and Visitor Centre is just a short walk from The Stag Hotel. The owl and otter sanctuary is just 10 minutes’ drive away, and Exbury Gardens are 25 minutes away by car. New Forest Golf Club is only a 2-minute drive away, and horse riding can be enjoyed at the nearby stables.
