Welcome to the Alexanderhouse! In recent years, we have transformed an old building into a beautiful oasis in the city centre. A green inner courtyard awaits you, hidden and quiet, in the centre of Leonidio. The layout of the original building has been retained and thoroughly renovated. We wanted to retain the old charm and add modern components. In addition to unique lighting concepts and modern technology, you will also find old refurbished furniture, some low door heights/arches, fireplaces and old wooden elements. The Alexanderhouse is divided into 2 apartments, which can be rented individually or together. Alexander House 2 - the upper floor Alexander House 2 can be reached via a separate external staircase and is intended for 2-3 people. There are 2 beds in the bedroom, which can be used separately or combined. There is also a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. In the living and dining area you will find a dining table and sitting area as well as an open-plan kitchen with high-quality equipment. The convertible sofa bed is also located here. The room leads to the highlight of the upper flat - the large and sunny roof terrace with views over the city and the mountains. Enjoy the sun or the evening comfortably at the refurbished marble table under the sun umbrella or on the loungers. In the garden there is a small cottage with a washing machine and tumble dryer, which can be used by both parties.

Activities and restaurants You are in the centre of the village! There are various restaurants, bars and cafés in the direct neighbourhood. Leonidio is known for its spectacular climbing spots. Other activities include hiking and fishing. You can book a boat tour or go water skiing directly in the harbour. Day trips on the Peloponnese are also highly recommended - visit Kosmas, Monemvasia or Elafonisos! Otherwise, simply enjoy the surrounding beaches of Leonidio or Poulithra. The first beach is about 5 minutes away by car (approx. 4km). Transport Ideally, you will have a car or a bicycle to get around. There are taxis in the village and the possibility to hire bicycles. From Athens airport it is approx. 3 hours by car to the accommodation (235 km). From Kalamata airport it is about 2 hours by car to the accommodation (160 km). Parking You can either park in a side street by the house (no allocated parking space) or easily use the large free car park in the village, which is a 5-minute walk away Food & shops There are two supermarkets and several fruit and vegetable shops in the village. There is also a bakery, a fish shop and local specialities. You will also find pharmacies, banks, petrol stations, beauty and hairdressing salons, massages and several other services and shops.
