Aotes is a family-run apartment. Our family has been involved in the hospitality sector of Naxos for 4 generations, so rest assured that our services combine long-standing tradition and experience with a modern perspective with the aim to offer a memorable stay.

Aotes is a stone-built apartment, in the traditional Cycladic architecture. The use of stone is a vivid flavour of the Venetian influence in Naxos, while serving as an excellent natural insulator, keeping houses warm in the winter and cool during the summer months. The whitewashed exterior walls and blue frames are in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, reflecting the foam of the Aegean waves and the sparkling blue of the Greek skies. The apartment has undergone a full renovation, which was completed in Easter 2022, so as to offer all modern comforts and amenities. As is customary in the Cyclades, all sleeping furniture are built-in, with a queen-sided bed dominating the area, surrounded by bedside tables and hanging lamps. The wardrobe is built-in as well, for storing clothes in comfort. The apartment showcases a kitchenette with an impressive marble countertop and sink, and also offers ceramic cooktopes, a small fridge, a coffee machine, a sandwich toaster and all equipment necessary for light food preparation. The bathroom features an overlit vanity and mirror, an enclosed shower stand, neutral wall tiles and is fully equipped with hand soap, shampoo and body wash

Aotes is perfectly located in the Chora of Naxos. It is within a 5-minute walking distance from the port, and only a few meters away from the main promenade of the island. All central cafes, restaurants and bars are within the immediately surrounding area, making it a prime spot for travellers wishing to enjoy the lively Naxian life to its fullest. Please note that the apartment is located in a bustling area and even though it is fully soundproofed, some exterior noise is to be expected. Agios Georgios beach can be found within a 15-minute walk from the apartment. If one wishes to enjoy a more scenic view, Agios Prokopios, Agia Anna and Plaka, arguably some of the best well loved Greek beaches, are all within a 6km radius. Municipal parking spaces which may be used free of charge are within 200m of the apartment.
