Our apartment is divided into 2 floors and has a size of 255m2. The entire apartment offers overnight accommodation for 10 (+ 4) people. It has a 90m2 roof terrace with, on the one hand, sea views to the Halkidiki peninsula and, on the other hand, with a view of the Olympus mountain range. There is also a barbecue area. Sufficient parking spaces are available in the garage (three) and in the garden. The house complex and property measuring 6,500m2 is located just outside the town of Platamon, 1 km from the beach. Since there are no direct neighbors, there is no night-time peace as in built-up areas. In the immediate vicinity of the house (450 m) there is a discount store (food, miscellaneous) and a gas station. The motorway entrance and exit to Thessaloniki and Athens is about 700 m away. The nearest train station on the Thessaloniki – Athens railway connection is in the neighboring town of Nei Pori, about 1.35 km away on foot. Thessaloniki International Airport is 130 km away.

Welcome to my home! I'm your host, Georgia. Although I live in Austria, I find it wonderful to spend a few months a year in my home country. I enjoy gerting in contact with people from diverse countries and cultures. I like children, animals, and have a great sense of humor. I speak three languages (greek, german, english), play two musical instruments, piano and cello, and studied International Relations. I volunteered as an Emergency medical technician with the Austrian Red Cross for over 15 years. I am also socially active in various areas. My interests and hobbies are psychology, medicine, diplomacy, art, music, film & television, fashion, tennis, horseriding, and swimming. And last but not least I enjoy cooking international dishes.

Platamon, also Platamonas, is a popular tourism town in Pieria with around 2,000 inhabitants, located southeast of Mount Olympus, 38 kilometers from the city of Katerini and 49 kilometers from the city of Larissa in Thessaly. The distance from Platamon to Thessaloniki is 106 km (1h 15min) and to the Maccedonia airport of Thessaloniki it is 130km (1h 30min). Platamon is currently visited by more than 120,000 tourists annually. It shows a rare natural beauty at the foot of Mount Olympus. Wide sandy beaches and fine pebble beaches blend harmoniously into the beautiful, green landscape at the foot of Mount Olympus. The coastal town with its crystal clear water, rich vegetation and magical beaches has been awarded the European Blue Flag for years. The place is very well organized for tourism, offers safe access to the sea and is the ideal place for a relaxing family vacation, but also for the traveler who wants to experience something on vacation. There are numerous luxury hotels, apartments and campsites in Platamon. Just outside Platamon lies the well-preserved castle complex from the Byzantine period. The facility is one of the venues of the international Olympus Festival, which has been taking place for well over 50 years.
