Through a journey that started in 2001, Oreo Travel was founded by Stratos Beretis, an experienced member of the Greek Tourism Industry, a Graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Crete, and a Master's Degree Holder in Tourism Business Management. Having passed through several management positions, he was won over by the occupation with tailor-made tourism services and especially in inbound tourism in villas, independent properties, country houses, and small holiday rental units. Oreo Travel started as a representative of global tour operators and continues to this day with an ever-growing network of partners and properties in Crete, Peloponnese, and Athens, in line with the new promotional and management methods. Our goal at Oreo Travel is to promote the properties we partner with in the best way possible, by solely operating as a booking agent on behalf of our partner-property owners, whom we advise and guide in providing high standards of hospitality for their guests, in accordance with the regulations and the laws that govern the accommodation industry. Beautiful 1880 built traditional house just renovated in 2021 in the heart of Areopoli village in a fantastic atmosphere.

Areopoli is a well-preserved historical town with stone paths and traditional tower houses, which were built for social and defensive reasons. The town took its name from the Greek God of War, Ares, and was the capital of the historical district of Inner Mani (Mesa Mani). Like the rest of the Mani settlements, Areopoli is known for its contribution during the battles of Greece against the Ottoman Empire. The tower of the Mavromichali family (or tower Stilianou Mavromichali) in Areopoli is a historical monument. In Areopoli and in the wider area of Laconia, you will find restaurants with specialties of the traditional cuisine of the Mani district. In Karavostas,i you will find a beautiful pebble beach. Also in the beautiful Limeni settlement, there are special stands from which you can dive into the water. Small, peaceful beaches mainly covered by pebbles can be found throughout the west side of the Mani peninsula. The pebble beach of the Karavostasi area attracts a lot of travelers. In the seaside settlement, there are beautiful and traditional taverns.
