Our neighboorhood is the most lively part of town, there are numerous cafes and restaurants, commercial and souvenir shops, pharmacy, grocery store and minimarkets in the pedestrian area consisting of a square and the adjacent streets. The municipal free parking is only 200m away. The Old Agora and the Altar of Dionysus are the main antiquites within very short distance and a little further in a radius of 200m are the Archaeological Museum, the Old Town, the Casa Romana, the Plane Tree of Hippocrates and the medieval Castle of Neratzia. The closest organised beach is 400m. away
Guests can easily move around by feet or bicycle to cover all their transportation needs but scooters are also a popular choice for those looking forward to explore more of the Island. The free municipal car parking ensures peace of mind for those guests that prefer a car rental as a means of comfortable transportation. The bus station KTEL is 300m away and there are daily routes from and to the airport as well as the main villages
