The Egnatia hotel lies at the top of the hill of the city of Kavala. It is 32 km from the Alexander the Great airport and only a 5-minute drive from the city centre. The recently renovated guest rooms at Egnatia Hotel combine elegance with modern comfort. Each includes a modern LCD TV, with video on demand and satellite channels, as well as CD/MP3 player. The bathrooms offer professional hairdryer and toiletries. The on-site Essential Spa includes an indoor pool with hydromassage jets, gym, 2 saunas, hamam and hot tub. Various massage techniques and rejuvenating programmes are provided. Face or body treatments, as well as beauty and hairdresser's services are also provided. A rich American breakfast is served each morning in buffet style. Healthy menus including sea food and favourite French and Greek dishes are served at Thea Restaurant, between 12:30 and 23:30. The Erato Roof Garden offers romantic dinners with beautiful views of the island of Thassos and the city of Kavala during the summer season. Some of the most beautiful beaches of the area can be reached within a few minutes by car.
