Diakofti is one of the 5 seaside villages of Kythera. In the east part of the island the climate is relatively more mild. Generally Diakofti is a popular destination due to the fact that the snady beach of the area is considered the best sandy beach of Kythera. Very close to the sea you can find lovely tavernas and cafe. Generally is a quiet village with a few shops ( mini market, cafe, tavernas).
