The apartment was designed and built in 2023 by the architects Vrouva Antigoni and Ino Protopappa. Everything inside is one-of-a-kind including hand-crafted sinks, bathroom and balcony designed and crafted by local artisan marble workers and blacksmiths. Everything is brand new handpicked one by one by an architectural office in the best quality currently available. The purpose of the apartment from the beginning was to be something unique not only in Syros but also in a more general context which combines the nobility of Hermoupolis with the new ideas and design of the architects. The name “Igiso” is inspired by an ancient Greek warship and denotes the one who leads all! The name itself and the logo symbolize the female potential and beauty but also the history of the apartment since the inspiration for the creation was given by a woman, the design and completion of the project were carried out by women as well as the operation at the moment. It has been designed with a lot of personal effort and she has to offer a very special experience to the resident. It is the highest balcony of the entire beachfront and is located literally in the heart of Ermoupoli with a view of the entire city and port. Everything is within walking distance. Restaurants, bars, clubs, public services shops for shopping etc. Some points to highlight: The apartment in on the 3rd floor and does not have an elevator and also because it is located in the heart of the city at night there may be a little bit of noise!
