My brother Panos and I live in Athens and have been spending our summer holidays in Kefalonia since 1995. Having travelled all over Greece, we now know for sure that nowhere else compares to Kefalonia, an island that has a character of its own... Panos is a civil engineer and I am a primary school teacher. In 2009, we decided to invest to a much loved place linked to those special, wonderful holiday stays on the island. During your stay we will be on hand to help you make the most of your visit with advice and tips on what to do and see and how to keep your children busy and creatively entertained!

The villas have been designed with great care and love according to the traditional Kefalonian architecture, yet, they provide you with all the modern amenities. They have been positioned in an effective way within our estate in order to provide functional autonomy, independent external access and privacy, everything necessary for a pleasant and peaceful stay. Dining on the verandas or patios enjoying great sea and mountain views is a unique experience especially at the end of a long and busy day on the beach! Beaches/ countryside: St. Thomas sandy beach is a 10min walk away. It is ideal for little children as it has shallow waters. The sandy beach of Trapezaki is a 3 min drive. The 1km long beach of Lourdas with the ever changing turquoise blue clear water is only a 5 min drive away. Part of the beach is organized and sun beds and umbrellas are available for hire. There’s some beach side tavernas too. Being nature lovers, we have discovered many walks in the surrounding area. There are also some fabulous tavernas close by all offering delicious traditional dishes. We love the rural tranquility of Karavados and the surrounding area, where one can find plenty of picturesque villages and clear blue beaches. Travel: The airport of Kefalonia (EFL) is a 15min drive away and there are direct flights to the island from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London/ Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle and other European cities from the beginning of May to the end of October. Car hire is recommended in order for you to explore the beautiful island as it offers many options for sightseeing. Please note that we can arrange car hire for you at the airport on your arrival.
