Located in an idyllic mountain setting with sweeping views of Volos and the sea, the villa is located in Koukourava, lower Makrinitsa. This old country house underwent a complete renovation, and has been converted into an elegant home with modern amenities, and decorated to give the visitors an intimate and homely feeling. With 2 bedrooms and a living/bedroom on the first floor, it can host up to 6 persons. The open space ground floor (living room, dining room, kitchen) is also comfortable for 6 persons. The house is surrounded by a large terraced garden with flowers and fruit trees. You have access to all the area. You can have a BBQ on the lawn and, depending on the season, taste real organic fruit, peaches, apricots, grapes, pears, apples, tomatoes in spring and summer, pomegranates and kiwis in autumn.

I am a literary translator and, as such, I enjoy reading and writing. I love traveling, discover new places and meet new people. Actually, I did a lot of travelling along the years and also lived in different countries. Here, in the Pelion, I hike a lot and look after the house and the garden.

Koukourava is a very small and quiet village. Koukourava Garden is conveniently located 7km from Volos, the nearest town, where you’ll find all services and can enjoy eating in a selection of sea-front restaurants or, as is very popular in this area, tsipouradika where food accompanies drinks, and not the contrary. A year-round destination, the area is also popular for hiking, mountain-biking, rock-climbing and skiing in winter. For the hikers, trails start right on your doorstep. The area is known for the beauty of natural environment. Our house overlooks the sea and you can enjoy amazing sunsets. All around, the mountains covered with trees are pleasing to the eye with their beautiful changes of colour at every season.
