Tolo is a popular holiday destination and as such has excellent amenities for visitors, a stunning, long sandy beach with shallow (especially great for children), crystal clear waters ideal for swimming, snorkelling and watersports. Tolo’s location, very close to Nafplion, lends itself very nicely to being a base from where to visit the wealth of archaeological sites in the Peloponnese such as the UNESCO sites of Epidavros, Mycenae and Ancient Tiryns (Tiryntha) all found very close by. A short distance from Athens (just one and a half hours) makes Tolon easily accessible for both tourists from abroad and domestic tourism.
