It is situated in a traditional working farm of a reasonable size with its own natural pristine springs and a unique forest. The accommodation stands alone on the side of a mountain, with a panoramic view overlooking the valley of “Kalikri”, the sea and the surrounding mountains. It is ideal for nature lovers, walkers and hikers, as this place is the starting point of the trails to the wild yet beautiful mountainous south part of the island. Even when there is mist, rain or snow, this place is always a true refuge warm and welcoming. Skyros Refuge was built with great attention to aesthetic design and comfort. It is built with natural materials such as wood and stones collected mainly from the farm. It consists of two good sized, extremely attractive, comfortable and traditional furnished rooms. They can be rented separately but are also ideal for 2 couples on holiday together with children. There are high quality, handmade furnishings, wood burning stoves, central heating and a fully equipped kitchen. There are family size dining tables, many terraces for relaxing, sunbathing, reading and enjoying meals. There is a barbeque and It is also offered an authentic farmers breakfast made mainly from owned organic products.
