The Bay Pearl is located in the beautiful port town of Agia Efimia, Kefalonia. This cottage is perfectly situated being less than 100m to the main town and harbour and comes with a private off-street parking spot.
It was fully renovated in 2023, offering an open floorplan with two bedrooms. It offers a wonderful, secluded garden with a great BBQ area.
There is a traditional Greek taverna located just across the street which serves some of the best food in the area.
This cottage's location gives you the best of both worlds, you can relax in the peaceful courtyard garden picking fresh oranges for breakfast, or you can easily explore the town on foot or take some local walks in the nearby countryside.
George is a charming gentleman and native of Kefalonia who has traveled the world, led large construction projects, and made many friends along the way. Today, he enjoys meeting new people who wish to learn more about Greece while taking in his witty humor.
Agia Efimia has a great selection of restaurants, cafes and bars with the majority having splendid views across the Ionian sea to the neighbouring island of Ithica.
For those who want to explore the island, Agia Efimia is a great starting point. World famous Myrtos beach is just 9km away to the west, the beautiful port town of Fiskardo is a must visit destination and is less than 30km away to the north. Drive 9km south and you will soon be in the bigger port town of Sami where you can visit the amazing Melissani underground lake or head to the stunning Antisamos beach. This beach was made famous as it was used in the film ‘Captain Corelli's Mandolin’. Carry on south and over the highest mountain range in the Ionian and you will soon be in the island capital of Argostoli. The airport is located just 38km away.
