Villa di Capo sits on the southwestern part of Santorini, in Akrotiri, 10 km away from the port of Athini, 11 km from Fira and 12 km from the island airport. Akrotiri is world-famous for the prehistoric settlement revealed in the 1967 excavations. Archaeologists hold that the earliest evidence of the settlement’s habitation, date back to the Late Neolithic times (around 4500 BC). The archaeological site only five minutes away from the villas.
