Villa Status is a private holiday home built in complete harmony with the surrounding area, adhering to the architecture of the island. Like most Zante houses, the villa is inspired by the medieval Venetian mansions and features three floors and big open plan rooms. Location Practically in the centre of the beautiful Ionian island, Vougiato is a low-key village in Zante, still holding old traditions and keeping a slow pace. Soothing landscapes of pristine nature encircle villa Status and architectural gems of Byzantine churches attract the few village residents and guests. Olive trees and vineyards are aplenty here, giving you just the right amount of inspiration for your next wine or olive oil tasting in Zakynthos. Beaches Laganas beach, the biggest one you will find on the island, is 7 km away and is well-known for its clear waters and for being the place where the Caretta-Caretta turtles lay their eggs.
