About the accommodation: Villa TAF - in the ‘Golden South’ of Crete - only 2.8 km to the beach! A fully equipped holiday home close to the village and the beach, incl. private pool, for 4-6 people (max. 8 with sofa bed plus baby cot) with a magnificent view of Psiloritis and a side sea view. In addition to free parking, air conditioning and WiFi, the house offers a small fitness room with table tennis and table football in the basement. The villa has two separate floors, which can be accessed via separate entrances. On the ground floor (approx. 60 sqm) there are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 separate WC and 1 living/dining room with an integrated, very well-equipped kitchen. The basement (approx. 60 sqm) is equipped with a further bedroom, a bathroom and a leisure and fitness area. The outdoor area has a roof terrace (approx. 50 sqm), a pergola (approx. 12 sqm) and a terrace with sun loungers and barbecue facilities for wonderful summer evenings. Up to two cars can be parked in front of and to the side of the house. The accommodation also offers air conditioning and free WiFi. Please note: Two other villas are in the immediate neighborhood and a villa is currently being built on the neighboring plot. The pool heating costs 30 euros per day because the heating is very energy-intensive. However, the heating can be used on individual days if desired (Cash payment on site).

We ourselves are a German family with several now grown-up children who - for different reasons - have all found their love for Crete, Kamilari and, ultimately, Villa Taf. The three ‘O.L.I.V.E. Luxury Villas’ were built in 2015 and when they came up for sale in 2021, we deliberately opted for the charm of Taf, namely the house away from the main road with unobstructed distant views. Even though we still use the property ourselves, we would also like to give other interested parties the opportunity to enjoy our small but beautiful ‘refuge in the golden south’. We are happy to answer general questions about TAF and the surrounding area ourselves in advance, but there is also a personal contact person on site who is available to answer local questions. Villa Taf is located between the two villages of Kamilari and Kalamaki in the south of Crete, around 65 kilometres from Heraklion airport. Far away from mass tourism, the surrounding area offers a varied experience for young and old with picturesque nature, beautiful beaches and small restaurants and tavernas serving traditional Cretan food. For culture enthusiasts, a visit to the nearby excavations of Phaistos, a Bronze Age Minoan settlement, is recommended.
