Situated in Santiago Atitlán, Paradise of Atitlan offers beachfront accommodation 7.3 km from Volcano Atitlan and provides various facilities, such as a private beach area and a garden. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet features lake views, an outdoor fireplace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The chalet provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and free toiletries. A fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware are also available, as well as a coffee machine. At the chalet complex, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Welcome! My name is Richard. I'm from Utah in the United States. My son lives in Utah and my daughter in Nevada. My wife passed away nine years ago.
I was a high-school teacher of the German language in the US. During one of my vacations, I visited Guatemala, and I fell in love with Lake Atitlán and the culture of the people here. So after my retirement, I decided to move to Guatemala.
I've lived in this property on the shores of Lake Atitlán for 3 years. I love woodworking, gardening, and I'm always working to improve the property and its nature to enhance its beauty in a sustainable way.
I love living here because of the beautiful nature, the views, the lake, the indigenous culture, and the weather. And I love to share all of that with my guests here!
I speak English, German, and Spanish.
I would be very happy to welcome you here to this idyllic and tranquil paradise on Lake Atitlán.
Our chalet is located in the woods, surrounded by nature. Our neighbors are a distance away.
The house is surrounded by many large trees, beautiful plants and flowers. There are beautiful views of Lake Atitlán and the two volcanos on the other side of the lake, Tolimán and Atitlán.
I love living here because of the beautiful nature, the views, the lake, and the weather. And I love to share all of that with my guests! Since I live on the property, I'm just a short walk away and can help you at any time to make your stay more comfortable, yet at the same time, you have all the privacy you need in your house in the jungle.
I provide breakfast or a welcome food package so you can cook for yourself if you like. I also provide purified water for your entire stay.
The house is available for short-term or long-term rentals.
Solar panels generate all the electricity on the property.
