We are a young family, who lived in the old family house and that was too much for us, and 'couse of different circumstances, decided to renovate the house and turn it into a small hotel, but at the same time maintain the characteristics of an old Dalmatian house.

Splendida Palace is a small family boutique hotel consisting of ten luxury rooms. The house was built at the end of the 19th century and carefully reconstructed in 2015, inspired by the building’s original aesthetic style. The building is nowadays listed as cultural heritage of the City of Split. We are located in the old part of Split – Radunica only a two-minute walk from the city center and Diocletian's Palace. Radun is an ancient Illyrian name for a water spring. Since day one Radunica was the main street of Lučac where, some five hundred years ago, old citizens of Split gathered while arriving from the Republic of Poljica. Radunica became even more famous with its festivities during the Days of Radunica, traditionally happening in the last week of June, around St. Peters day.

Traditional Nineteenth Day of Radunica this year are full of events: there will be a tournament in playing cards and krpašu, sporting events, and folk songs (along with men's and women's choir) and poetry readings, traditional Tombula... something for everyone. The joy in Radunica (Central evening - 06.30. Saturday) should last until the early morning hours with the songs, sardines and wine.
