Pučišća is the second largest place on the island of Brač. Pučišća are located in a deep bay between Postira and Povlje and what makes them stand out from the rest is the specific Brač stone. Namely, in the vicinity of the town there are three quarries whose stone was used for the construction of numerous imposing buildings and sculptures. In Pučišća, there is also a stonemasonry school that continues the centuries-old tradition of stoneworking. There are only two such schools in Europe, so you should definitely visit them and buy a souvenir made of Brač stone that will always remind you of your vacation in Croatia.
