Top Location - A bright, spacious 2 - bedroom apartment in exclusive location, next to the Museum of Fine Arts and right opposite Diocletian Palace - the city's main attraction. The Palace, a UNESCO world heritage site, is one of the best preserved monuments of the Roman architecture in the world and it is right at your doorstep. This can be your base to explore all the jewels of Split and a strategic location to make day trips to the stunningly beautiful nearby islands. Situated in a historic stone building, this apartment with its 90 square meters, really stands out when it comes to space. Two bedrooms with king and double size beds, each on the opposite side of a spacious, open layout living room with a sofa bed create an inviting atmosphere. Fully featured kitchen and bathroom make this apartment a superb choice even for a long term rental. A flat screen, multi-channel TV and high speed WI-FI or wired Internet access are provided free of charge. Thanks to its unrivaled location this comfortable air-conditioned apartment is a perfect home-base from where you can easily explore the city’s history, entertainment places and nearby beaches. Famous Bačvice beach is 15 min. away.
I love cinema, books, long walks, taiji and qigong. Most of all I like to travel and to meet new people. But I am always happy to come back to Split to enjoy its perfect climate and breathtaking scenery. I like to go for a swim to Bačvice beach very early in the morning, have coffee with friends at Riva afterwards and on my way home pass through Pazar - one of Split's iconic spots, green market where I buy my fresh daily provisions. I would recommend my guests this morning routine. I know you'll love it. I would like you to visit my other favorite places such as Peristil Square, Pjaca and Riva. I also advise you use the Orbitrek trainer in the apartment for a warm up exercise and run to Sustipan or Marjan to catch the most beautiful view of sea and islands and if you are not tired just a little bit further down the road you'll find Meštrović Gallery. What a sight! You can find the photos of some of these places in the apartment gallery. Hope you'll enjoy it. I wish you a pleasant and memorable stay in Split!
King Tom apartment got its name after the street (King Tomislav st) where it is located and where the Palace Golden gate is. The apartment windows are overlooking the Palace which is 20 meters away. So, thanks to its unique location, King Tom's neighborhood consists of the city’s monuments, art galleries, museums - and being situated in the vibrant heart of Split all amenities are on hand - countless cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, night clubs, theaters, concerts, festivals, outdoor opera stage, cinemas are just around the corner! At the same time you’ll be just minutes away from the atmospheric Split market, Riva waterfront and Bačvice beach! The neighborhood is called “Grad” which means "city" and the name tells all. It is within walking distance of most of Split's sights, from Diocletian Palace and the Museum of Fine Arts next door to the green market, the ferries and waterfront 5 -15 minutes away. Café-bars that serve breakfast Semafor and Galeria are in front of the building. There are grocery stores and laundry service just across the street. The grocery stores nearby. The location is also very convenient for the use of public transport.
