Plitvice Nest is a modern Lika house intertwined with traditional elements. The roof and facade is covered with wooden shingles from local sources, just like in the old days. Meanwhile, the inside decor is modern, comprised of 3 apartments with fully equiped kitchens and terraces with mountain views.
Situated just a 5 minute drive from the Plitvice Lakes, the apartments are surrounded by the beautiful nature of Korana River. Rastoke village, Barać caves, Željava abandoned airport, and Tito's mansion are all within a 20 minute drive away.
Within a 5 minute walk, you'll find a caffe, a restaurant, and numerous hiking and cycling routes along the Korana River and through the forests. Nearby, there are adrenalin parks, a Deer Ranch, opportunities for horse riding and quad rides, as well as the old town Drežnik.

Turquoise Lake and a river canyon with waterfalls is only a 10-minute walk away, making this the prime area for swimming. The village is peaceful and full of greenery. There are many hiking and cycling routes available, as well as the canyon of Korana River. You'll find an old mill on the river bank just 10 minutes from the apartment.
