My name is Matthias and i love my home the Island of Rab. I'm passionate about my work hosting vacation rentals, I was born in Germany but almost all my family lives here. I also spent a lot of time abroad studying and traveling but i will be always loyal to Rab like many guests who visited this Island. I love all outdoor sports, at summer evenings i like to enjoy some of our house grown red wine. During the summer months I also organise boat tours, sunset tours, Waterski/ Tube tours, Jet Ski tours, ATV tours, Wine tasting, winery, vineyards & olive Garden tours. Me and my team ( the rest of my family ) will give our best to make you're vacation memorable.

Residence Astoria is located right in the heart of the lovely historical Mediterranean old town of Rab. To be more precious it is located right on the second main square if counting from arriving by car, or by foot from the main bus station of Rab ( about 250 meters ) ßor the first big square if counting arriving by passenger catamaran boat from Rijeka city ( about 60 meters away from the residence ) anyways you can hardly miss it. It's the big yellow house with green letters ASTORIA
Living in the Residence Astoria means that you have everything you need just next door ( beach, grocery store, shopping, bars and restaurants ) or even better just one or two floors beneath you're apartment in our Restaurant Astoria on the first floor we provide 10% off on cash payments for guests of the house. At the ground floor of our Residence Astoria you can enjoy morning coffee and breakfast.
Please note that the balcony of the apartment 33 ( `Apartment with terrace` ) is seperated from the apartment itself and you will have to make 4 steps thrue the hallway to reach the balcony to which one only you will have the keys.

The old town of Rab is perfect to stay in, in my opinion better than in one of the surrounding villages because comparing to the villages you have everything you need just next door and don't have to worry about parking or how to get into old town where everything is happening after the beach time. This is why you have much more time to see and explore everything Rab is offering. The city beach also starts just about 50 meters behind the house, and for you car you will get a parking card for free parking near the house right in the old town.
