Chameleon Villa is within a 15 minute drive, to the popular cafes/restaurants of Perernan, Seseh Village, Sosogan beach Cemagi, Kedungu Beach (quiet surf Beach 6km's from chameleon), Batu Tempih Beach & bustling Canggu (10km's from chameleon), surf some of the best waves in Bali at Bali Hai & Medewi beaches (1hour drive), play golf, tennis or horsehide along a beach, visit one of the most significant temples in Bali, or simply sit back and absorb the screenplay of nature. Surrounded by jungle and rice fields, our small village 'Buwit' still represents Bali as it used to be. People preparing for ceremonies, kids playing on the street, farmers coming back from the rice fields, Ibu (older ladies) carrying firewood to cook their evening meal or people just sitting at the side of the road watching the world go by are daily sights in the village. Chameleon Villa provides a driver Eddie. Eddie is our full time Concierge/driver. We provide a new 2023 Expander Cross 7 seater Mitsubishi with leather seats for comfort on long drives for a small cost per day. Eddie will take and drop you anywhere for as long or short as you wish, no need to think about the route or parking. If you know how to ride a scooter and you would like to explore the local neighbourhood we can steer you in the right direction for hiring them locally. Bike through the local rice fields & undeveloped surrounding villages, the back streets into Canggu or the quiet beaches further North of the Island.
