Your host Máire will extend a warm welcome to you with home baking and basic provisions on arrival. She will also tell you about her favourite restaurants and make a reservation for you if you desire. Her local knowledge of hidden gems will ensure that you discover the treasures of this magnificent region for yourself, in addition to the flagship attractions: the Derryveagh Mountains, Glenveagh National Park, Tory Island and the Ray Cross.
Máire has been hosting guests in Arasáin Bhalor for over 14 years, she is a fluent Gaelic speaker and takes great enjoyment from extending a very warm welcome to this her native home. A keen hill walker she is more than willing to give information on the many walks in this beautiful area.

Falcarragh ia a very safe rural village nestled between the beautiful Derryveagh Mountains and the spectacular local coastline. It is on the Wild Atlantic Way on the N56, is part of the Donegal Gaeltacht (Gaelic Speaking area) and has a population of just under 1,000. Shops, Pubs and Restaurants are within walking distance from the apartments. Falcarragh is the ideal location from which to see the North of Ireland. There are activities for young and old, kids may partake of the daily surfing lessons on our fabulous Back Strand while mam takes a relaxing walk along the beach. Falcarragh has stunning views of both Muckish and Errigal Mountains while Horn Head with its spectacular sea cliffs is just a short drive away. Sliabh Liag, The Giants Causeway and the beautiful Fanad Lighthouse are easily assessable from this area. For those who would like a short trip overseas the daily ferry to stunning Tory Island and Inisboffin leaves from nearby Magheroarty Pier. There is no shortage of fantastic scenery and spectacular activities in this area.
