Relax and connect to nature at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Yurt is set in the beautiful surroundings of hills and forests. Right off the Wicklow way and right beside the forest track leading to Lugnaquilla - the highest mountain in the Wicklow mountains. It is in a remote area with spectacular views.
There is access to hiking the Lugnaquilla forest trail right beside us and the Wicklow Way is about 15 min walking distance away.
The nearest town is Aughrim which is 10 min drive away with a small shop, cafe, pub, take away, fishing pond and park. Soak up some breathtaking views on a 10 min drive to Glenmalure lodge or 15 min to Macreddin village which has restaurants and a golf club. In Glenmalure you can enjoy the Bosca Beatha mobile sauna from October to March. Glendalough which is the home to one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland is just 20 min scenic drive away.
You can enjoy a refreshing dip in the river which is flowing only few meters away from the yurt.
