Our rooms and ensuite bathrooms have all been freshly painted in 2022 to ensure they are bright and clean. New showers and tiles have been installed since 2016 and 2022. We have new carpets put down in 2018. The rooms are spacious due to it been a purpose built B&B. More importantly it is a home, our home and we take pride in ensuring it is as comfortable as can be for our guests. They consist of comfy beds with fresh, white linen sheets and duvet, the perfect setting for a peaceful night of sleep. I have carefully chosen a colour pallet that provides a quiet, relaxed & chic atmosphere. These calming colours and comfortable furnishings are sure to help you chill out. The lounge offers complimentary teas and coffee with chocolate bars. Fresh flowers are displayed in the bedrooms. Balally House is the perfect spot to base yourself for all of Clare and Limerick. Shannon is the perfect place to stay multiple nights. There are numerous looped driving routes. You are beside the airport ( 5 min drive), 15 kms from Ennis (old town with plenty of character with boutique shops) 15 km drive from Limerick city ( St Johns castle and lots of shopping), 25 mins from Adare ( historical village with thatched cottages), 45 mins to the must see Burren National Park, 1 hour drive from the famous Cliffs of Moher, 6km from Dromoland castle( a great place for a walk or to splash out on a silver service dinner, 10 km from Cragganowen ( 16th-century castle and an archaeological open-air museum), 1 hour drive to the Loop head peninsula named Sustainable Destinations Global Top 100, 4 km to the world famous Bunratty Castle and folk park ( you can attend here also the medieval banquets at night). You can get to Galway in 1 hour from here or Dublin in two hours. You could spend two weeks here and have amazing and memorable things to see every day. The property is 1km to the river walk. There is The Ballycasey Craft centre only a 10 min walk away. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
