Balsoon Lodge is a luxury, self-catering exquisite destination lodge in Bective, Co. Meath, Ireland. Situated in the heart of the Boyne Valley, this beautifully appointed lodge is a haven of rural seclusion, with its own private garden and a flood lit tennis court. Balsoon Lodge is the ideal countryside retreat where you can relax and unwind in the pastoral idyll where quietness abounds. Sit back and listen to the birds twitter in the trees, dawn, dusk and in-between or enjoy a glass of wine in front of the stove.
Creating fascinating, interested luxurious living spaces, reading, gardening, cooking, creative and dramatic arts.
Balsoon Lodge is the perfect place to immerse oneself in the verdant Irish countryside and from which to explore the magnificent Boyne Valley and the abundant archeology and history of Ireland’s Ancient East. Local attractions are innumerable including but not exclusively: Bective Abbey (5 minute walk), Hill Of Tara (5 minute drive), the heritage town of Trim (7 minute drive), Trim Castle, New Grange (25 minute drive), Slane Castle (20 minute drive), Sinead’s Yoga Sanctuary (5 minute walk), Dublin City (40 minute drive)…to mention but a few.
