Located in the heart of Listowel, the Horseshoe bar and Restaurant is a family run business with a real traditional Irish touch to its business. Following on from an extremely successful business in the bar and restaurant, we have recently renovated a selection of rooms ranging from single rooms to triple rooms in order to cater for all your needs. The townhouse is located next door to the bar and is second to none in terms of location. Ballybunion beach and world famous golf course is situated just a 10 minute drive from the town of listowel.
Being raised in a family business from a young age has inspired me to set out on my own adventure. Due to the on going events in the town of Listowel I felt a townhouse accommodation was an ideal opportunity for me to make a start at my own little business. I live approximately 1km from the property itself which makes it very accessible and easy for me to run. I work full time in the family run business next door which has thrived over the past number of years.
Listowel offers plenty to anyone traveling around Kerry. The listowel races take place twice a year with the big meeting held in September where thousands of people flock into Listowel for a week of fun and entertainment. Listowel's writers week takes place the start of June and has become a major attraction for all writers as they visit the famous John B Keane statue which is situated just 20 yards from the accommodation. Another big attraction that week and in general would be John B Keanes pubs which is less than 100 yards from the townhouse. The revival music festival is another major event in Listowel town. This takes place in August with big acts coming to play in the famous town square in an open air concert. Listowel is a highly entertaining heritage town with plenty to see and do all year round.
