To lie in bed and watch the wild waves of the Atlantic Ocean must be the best way to spend any memorable break!...Try it! From our fantastic new guest suite you will have stunning panoramic views of the ocean. It's situated on a quiet road between the picturesque village of Doolin (2km away) and the magnificent Cliffs of Moher (3.6km away). The room has its own PRIVATE entrance, with a large en suite bathroom. It has a fridge, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine.
The room has no cooking facilities, however there is a selection of breakfast supplies in the room: milk, orange juice, tea/coffee, homemade bread, pastries, homemade breakfast muffins, fruit, yoghurt, homemade granola and cereals. If you have any special dietary requirements just let me know in advance and I can alter the list.
The continental breakfast can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own room or al fresco! Either way, you'll be able to enjoy the fantastic sea views!
- Doolin village (Fisher Street) is 2km away, a 25min scenic walk
- Cliffs of Moher Visiting Centre is 3.6km away
- Doonagore Castle (great for photos!) is only 5min walk from our house
- 8min drive to Doolin Pier for ferries to the Aran Islands
There are many wonderful things to do in the area. Visit the Cliffs of Moher, and do the scenic cliff walk trail Doolin-Cliffs-Liscannor. Take a boat trip to the Aran Islands (Mar - Oct). Have a wander around the wild Burren (I know lots of walking routes that you can do). Visit Lahinch beach to sunbathe, swim or surf! Go horse riding. Try rock climbing.
And after a busy day, relax in many of the famous pubs in Doolin, while listening to Irish traditional music, with over 35 sessions per week in the summer it can be difficult to decide which one to attend!
