Bruckless Rest - Fine Country Living adjoins a Traditional Thatched Donegal Cottage beautifully situated in a colourful Rose Garden (Cottage caters for 5 Guests) overlooking the Monastic Tower of Saint Conal. The tower pays tribute to Saint Conal our local Saint from the 6th Century and whose healing well is only 15 min walk away. This recently restored period residence is superbly situated in the Centre of Bruckless Village just 18 km west of Donegal Town. It’s proximity to Ireland’s Premier Fishing Port Killybegs (6 km away) where you can enjoy the hooked and cooked experience on offer from the local Fish Monger. Just across the road from Bruckless Rest (2 min walk) we recommend “Barry’s” Spar Shop open daily 8am to 10pm where you can choose from a well stocked deli counter for tomorrow’s picnic or Al Fresco Lunch in our Secluded Garden. Just 3 minutes walk away, past the chapel, I recommend “Mary Murrin’s Bar and Restaurant” where a full à la carte is available. Seafood a speciality! Bruckless rest is proud to be LGBT + friendly
Having lived practically all my life in this home and the love I have for its walls and contents will be evident to you once you enter the Grand Hallway with its high ceilings and stairwell. Every aspect of Fine Living with modern comforts have been thought of to ensure our guests have an incredible little escape away!
