Bumblebee cottage is located in a bustling little village of Dunkineely, between the fishing port of Killybegs, 8km away and Donegal Town 17km. 15 min drive (10km) to the beach and light house of St John’s Point. Local equestrian centre golf courses and blue flag beaches such as Fintra beach a few minutes from Killybegs and on route to Slieve League, the highest sea cliffs in Europe.
Myself and Mary live locally and will be on hand if you require anything to make your stay a memorable one. Please let us know if you are celebrating a special occasion.
Local shops: Floyds convenience store for paying bills, topping up phones, logs coal etc. Byrnes Butchers, for all your quality meat supplies. Hairdresser and Barbers for that special occasion. Florist. Petrol station: Barry’s in Bruckless, also your local post office. 3 local pubs on the Main Street. Several places of worship in the local area. Dunkineely health centre. Local community hall.
