On Carrig Island, entry by bridge, in County Kerry, Castle View House provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation facing the 15th-century Carrigafoyle Castle. The larger town of Listowel is around 25 minutes’ drive, and has several restaurants, traditional Irish pubs, a cinema and a range of museums. The Tarbert to Killimer ferry is around 15 minutes' drive away.
