We take pride in providing a spotless and beautiful home and know that going the extra mile makes all the difference. You will receive the warmest of welcomes on your arrival. I can help you with your luggage and you can relax with a nice pot of tea and scones in the sunroom or a lounge of your choosing. There is plenty of tourist paraphernalia to browse through or if you prefer a good read, loose yourself in a good novel or National Geographic. I love being a tourist myself, so I can advise you on how best to see the attractions and enjoy your stay. If you are going on an excursion, you can pre-order a packed lunch. If there is anything else you need, just ask.

Cloghan Lodge is a special place. It was built by my Father and the name is inherited from my Mother's townland, in Glencolmcille, Co. Donegal. Our well manicured gardens sweep around the house and the mature sycamore offer great privacy. The house is situated away from the main road and a well lit driveway offers plenty of parking. Because the house was purpose built, our guests enjoy bright, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms which are cleaned every day. All our bathrooms are equipped with power showers and white fluffy towels. We offer you an extensive and healthy breakfast menu and always accommodate our friends with special dietary requirements. Coeliacs can enjoy gluten free sausages and vegetarians can feast on pancakes or fruit compote. If you bring the sunshine with you, why not enjoy you're freshly brewed coffee alfresco! Cloghan Lodge is located on the Killarney Road, 1 km from Castleisland and 6 km from Kerry Airport, an ideal base to tour the Wild Atlantic Way and Ring of Kerry. However, the attractions start here. Crag Caves, Kingdom Falconry and Castleisland Golf Club are a ten minute drive away. The town is well known for its little boutiques and attract ladies from afar. Our local restaurants take pride in their local produce. We can organise your taxi home if you choose to enjoy a glass of wine or two. If you want to walk off the dessert, a stroll around the river walk is a nice way to end you're evening and the kids can enjoy the new playground en route. For the more energetic, you can avail of the gym overlooking the running track. Killarney is a 20 minute drive away and sheltered by the Macgillycuddy Reeks, Ireland's highest mountain range, however, more moderate walking trails are just a ten minute drive from us. Tralee is a 15 minute drive away. After spending a few hours in the Aquadome/ Bowling, treat yourself to a play or musical at Siamsa Tire. We have so much to offer, from a day in the spa and woodland walks to great traditional music and Cloghan Lodge is where it all begins.
