Whether you are a guest at a wedding in nearby Lough Rynn Castle, or on a family or group holiday. We are less than 2 mins walk to the Hotel (handy coming back from a wedding with sore feet!). We all absolutely love Leitrim and we still use our holiday home ourselves regularly. Whether it's a trip to the brilliant Lough Key Forest Park, or a family dinner out in Coxes Steakhouse in Dromod, there are so many amenities on the doorstep and within easy driving distance, all set in spectacular Rural Irish countryside. Rest, relax and enjoy the stunning beauty of the Lough Rynn Estate. Wander along the lakes, cycle down the front and back driveways, enjoy the Hotel's stunning ornamental gardens. We are a 20 minute drive away from Carrick-on-Shannon and all they have to offer there. Leitrim is one of Ireland's leading Artisan Food counties with plenty of eateries to choose from for lunch and dinner. From the Award Winning Sweet Geranium Cafe in Drumshanbo, to The Cottage Restaurant in Jamestown, the Landmark Hotel for brunch or lunch in their beautiful Conservatory to a family dinner in their restaurant - you will not go wrong! There is so much to see and do in Leitrim, and nearby Roscommon and Sligo. You can't beat this part of Ireland for a stunning 'staycation' or trip along the North West of our stunning Wild Atlantic Way. For the golfers there are many superb courses within an hours' drive - Sligo County, Enniscrone, Carrick-on-Shannon and even Ballyliffen is doable on a day trip. Then you've got the Hotel for stunning bar food and pints afterwards - and a 2 minute walk home.
