Teach Bhalor is ideally located just off the main street of the Gaeltacht area of An Fálcarrach where one has the convenience of having shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance but is ideally located away from noise and traffic. The village is nestled between the Derryveagh Mountains and the golden sandy Green Coast Beach of Drumnatinney, an ideal location to tour the North West of Ireland.
The surrounding areas are rich in heritage, history and culture. Walk on golden beaches, behold stunning seascapes, and hear the Irish language spoken eloquently. After an extraordinary holiday in this unique Gaeltacht area, you will feel relaxed, rejuvenated and inspired.
Mary and William have lived in this area all their lives and thoroughly enjoy welcoming visitors to their former home. An Fál Carrach (Falcarragh) is a small rural village situated in the Gaeltacht (Irish Speaking Area) in Nortn West Donegal. It has a population of less than 1,000. It is a scenic village on the Wild Atlantic Way and is nestled between the Derryveagh Mountain Range and the Atlantic Ocean. Drumnatinney Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Donegal, is less than a 5 minute drive from the village while Glenveagh National Park, Horn Head, Ards Forest Park and Errigal Mountain are all on our doorstep. Sliabh Liag, the famous sea cliffs and Fanad Lighthouse are just a short drive away. There are activitiesfor all ages such as water sports, horse riding, mountaineering, cycling.
