Wood House Lodge is nearby to so many places to visit. Cahir Castle and the Swiss Cottage, are located in Cahir, which is only 10 minutes drive. Rock of Cashel is also a beautiful place to visit with stunning views, about 20 minutes drive. Dungarvan is 1 hour drive from the lodge, beautifully town and if weather is good, you could walk/cycle the Waterford Greenway. Ardmore is about 15 minutes drive from Dungarvan. There is beautiful 4km Cliff walk, with beautiful scenery. Lismore Heritage, is also a beautiful place to visit, and around 50 minutes drive through the countryside. Blarney Castle, is 1 hour drive from the lodge, with beautiful gardens and castle. While visiting Blarney Castle, it would be lovely to visit the English Market is Cork city, and Cobh which is a beautiful place to visit. In Cobh, you could visit the “Titanic Experience”, Cobh Heritage Centre, St. Colman’s Cathedral, and Spike Island. Kilkenny is 1 hour drive and is also another beautiful place to visit. If you are travelling from Dublin, it might be easier to visit on your way to the lodge, as it will be on your way down. Cliffs of Moher is 2 hour drive from the lodge. The longest drive you will probably have, however it can easily be achieved on a day drip. It is well worth visiting, with breathtaking views on a clear day. Bunratty Castle & Folk Park is 1 hour drive is also be a nice place to visit. You could probably visit on your way to the Cliffs of Moher, as it is on your way to the cliffs on Moher.
