High in the mountains, at the entrance of the Golan Heights, the Etnachta Kibbutz Afik is an excellent base for travellers wanting to explore the exciting regions of Galilee and the Golan Heights. This peaceful kibbutz hotel is surrounded by lush gardens and features both rooms and chalets. Units are located on the ground floor and are equipped with satellite TV, en suite facilities, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Guests of the Etnachta Kibbutz Afik get discounted rates to Hamat Gader Hot Springs, located 30 km away. The lake of Galilee can be found at a distance of 15 km. Parking is plenty and free of charge. Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.
Please note that on Saturdays and the first day of Jewish holidays, check-in is only possible after 18:30. On Saturdays and the final day of Jewish holidays, check-out is possible until 16:00. Using a car is the best way to reach the hotel, which is located in an isolated area with limited public transport. Please note speaker and sound systems are not allowed inside the kibbutz.
