Set on the summit of Mount Canaan, this luxury spa hotel offers tennis and basketball courts plus a wellness centre with semi-Olympic indoor pool, saunas, hot tub and Hammam. Rooms at Canaan Spa Hotel are elegant and spacious with luxurious fabrics and carefully chosen furniture. They are all air conditioned and come with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The hotel offers a total of 15 beauty treatments plus spiritual lectures and art workshops. Access to the gym and all of the sports facilities is free. There is also a synagogue. Breakfast is available until 10:30 daily. Guests can enjoy delicious meals at the gourmet restaurant, as well as complimentary herbal teas and fresh fruit in the lobby. Overlooking Safed Old City, the hotel is near the Sea of Galilee and is a great base for trips around North Israel.
