On the shores of the Sea of Galilee, The Scots Hotel is set in a historic building overlooking the Golan Heights. This former hospital is now a luxurious hotel with swimming pool. The Scots Hotel's rooms are divided between the old and the new wing. They are all air-conditioned and come with a fridge and a tea/coffee maker. Some rooms overlook the lake. The Torrance restaurant serves rich gourmet food, including Galilee specialities. The wine cellar is stocked with local and international wines.

Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.
Please note that on Saturdays and the final day of Jewish holidays, check-in is after 17:00.
