Amrapali - House of Grace is a 100-year-old lovingly restored Portuguese home on the banks of the river Zuari. Its hallways are long and luxuriously designed for lounging indoors while experiencing the lush greenery of the outdoors. The luxurious homestay is run by an efficient team that will help you in all your needs from spa bookings or healing therapies, Goan cooking classes and tours of Old Goa, Fountainhas & the neighbouring Chorao & Divar Islands. The menu is prepared a la minute and it is curated and designed by a Le Cordon Bleu chef. The kitchen uses primarily local ingredients, only clean oils and Himalayan pink salt and follows slow living practices that include fermentation and pickling to create a menu that is delicious and wholesome. Please note, we have well-mannered 5 rescue dogs on the property so only dog lovers are welcome.

Simran is well-travelled and has lived large chunks of her life in the US, UK and Iran. She studied English & Photography at Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia and proceeded to train at Le Cordon Bleu in London. She owned and ran a French patisserie in Tehran where she also had a Central kitchen for 5 years. For the last 12 years she has been studying various spiritual and holistic practices; she is a thought leader on getting healthy and happy the natural way. Amrapali - House of Grace is an expression of her need for beauty, grace and ease in the world. She wishes to share some of that creativity, pleasure and ananda with guests who honour her home.

Amrapali - House of Grace is a caravanserai, a private homestay situated close to the bustle of Panjim and Old Goa. All about the art of sussegado and soulful living, the central courtyard hosts a fabulous pool surrounded by passages with grand, laterite archways in which you can lounge and relax. The iconic location by the river allows for riverside dining and private gardens are positioned right on the water. The home has a kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (fixed timings). The common areas are plenty and the space is bright and airy and maintained in top condition.

Originally known as Villa Morgado, the house was built a century ago by Casimiro Honorato de Sequeira Nazareth for his wife Maria Gracias (Grace) and their five children. Original landowners of the entire Vaddo, the Nazareth home stands proud on the banks of the River Zuari and is known and admired by all North Goans. The vibrant sounds of the Vaddo can be heard in the occasional grunting of pigs, barking of dogs and iconic songs of Lorna Cordeiro streaming on the radio. The house is located just 20-minutes from the World Heritage Latin quarter - Fountainhaas, Panjjm City and also just 20-minutes from Old Goa’s historic churches. Bambolim Bay and Siridao beach are 5 minutes away.
