The Promoter of Mistletoe Munnar, Joe belongs to the third generation of migrants who have moved from the Central Kerala district of Kottayam( Erstwhile Travancore kingdom) in the early 1930s. Joe is a graduate in Psychology from Adamson University, Manila, Philippines, and also a Certified Hotel Administrator by American Hotel & Motel Association and has more than 16 years of hospitality exposure with reputed brands like Club Mahindra, Habitat Hospitality, in operations, sales & marketing, administration, HR. In the homestay venture, Ms. Jeena Elizabeth, Jo’s wife is rather your host. Jeena is a postgraduate in Mathematics and hails from Kochi. Late Mr. Joseph Oommen, the head of the house was a skilled baker of the traditional baking era. Mrs. Annamma, Joseph’s wife hails from a conservative Syrian Christian family in Kottayam, central Kerala region, it is only an added blessing that Annamma has excellent cooking skills in Syrian Christian delicacies. And their jovial sons Nirmal & Thejas, aged 13 and 10 certainly add some rhythm and life to the entire ambiance.
