These modern-built cottages are located in Reykjadalur 60 km from Akureyri and 10 km from the famous Godafoss waterfalls. Each of the Einishus Cottages comes with a heated outdoor bath and a fully-equipped kitchen. The light and airy cottages have large windows and spacious living areas, with a flat-screen TV and even outdoor patios with barbeque equipment. Guests will have open views of the surrounding terrain. Laugar is 3 km from Einishus Cottages, where there is a shop, a restaurant and an outdoor swimming pool open year-round. The historic 19th Century Einarstada Church is only 500m from the site. Guests will be 30 km from both Lake Myvatn and Husavik, the whale-watching capital of the North. The surrounding area is popular for hiking and bird watching.

The cottages are in a farm area which is very tranquil and nice. You can get away from all the stress, relax in the hot tub, enjoy the environment and breathe in the good air in Iceland.
We are the owners Einir and Guðfinna and we had this dream for a long time to build these cottages in their favorite environment and letting people experience the tranquility of the area.
We have been married for 40 years. We have four grown children and many grand-children. Einir was raised her on this farm but Guðfinna is from Reykjavík We started Einishús in 2012 and then we where working elsewhere also but now we only work here. Because we are only two of us working here we can not be all the time at the office. We have to clean the houses and wash the linen. Therefore we sometimes leave the key outside the office and our costumers can take the key at any time they like after 3 o'clock and in the morning return it to the mailbox when they leave. We really want to meet all our guests so if you see our marked car by some house we are there cleaning so do not hesitate to come and talk to us. You can also call us or send us an e-mail and we will answer you as quickly as we can.
We are here to help you any way we can.

Laugar is a small village nearby, 3km, and there is a good outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Dalakofinn.
Goðafoss is a beautiful waterfall about 10km away. Very nice environment and you can hike around.
