The dome is 70 sqm (about 750 sqf) on two levels and can host up to six adult guests. The main level has a common area with a sleeper sofa, a queen-size sleeping area for two, a kitchen area and a bathroom. The mezzanine (2nd level) has a queen size bed that sleeps two. Note that the mezzanine can only be accessed via a ladder that can only be used by an able bodied person.
Access to the mezzanine is only meant for adult guests.
The lower-lever queen-size sleeping area and the kitchen area share the view of the main window but the mezzanine bed has a good view of the skylight that is installed in the top of the dome.
The dome is heated with a central heating/cooling system.
The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare a simple meal. There is a two plate stove, small fridge and utensils for cooking. Glasses and dishes are provided for 8-12 persons. Towels, kitchen-towels and and dish-washing liquid is provided.
We are located a stone-throw away from Kerið-crater, and in a comfortable driving distance from must see locations like Gullfoss, Geysir and Þingvellir! We are also centrally located for all other visits you would want to do in the south of Iceland - the location couldn't be better!
