Ásamýri is an ideal base for sightseeing around South Iceland’s key natural attractions. The Golden Circle is a classic tour that covers the upper regions of South Iceland and stops by Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir hot springs. Þingvellir National Park is about a 30-minute drive from Ásamýri.
The location has good conditions for viewing the northern lights on clear winter evenings. Guests are welcome to visit the animals on the farm.
