Enjoy your stay in Seyðisfjörður in our just renovated apartment in the historic old music school Steinholt. It is right in the heart of Seydisfjordur centre. Entrance is from a big terrace that can be enjoyed during the stay Apartment offers a kitchen with a dish washer and all amenities for preparing meals. In the living room is a sofa that can be a single bed. Downstairs is a big bedroom with a sleeping possibility for 2-4 people. A double bed and two single beds, a curtain separates the space for privacy if wanted. Additionally Clothes hangers, reading lights and a desk are there. Bathroom with walk in shower and washing/Dryer machine is available during your stay. Spectacular mountain and fjord view. Ideal for family or a group of friend
After travelling the world and finishing nursing studies Benedikta met on her travels a hotel owner in Fort Kochi in India that was born and raised in Seydisfjordur and owned a hostel there. To make a long story short Benedikta that had at the time never been to Seydisfjordur decided to run the hostel there for one summer ... but like many people... she has lived there since, started a family and has been renovating the old houses and hosting travellers for the last 10 years with lots of love and enthusiasm.
Steinholt is right in the heart of town between the Skaftfell Art Gallery, the bistro and the newly opened Filling Station & the rainbow street with the church, stores and Hotel Aldan. A more detailed overview of what to do in the area is sent out with the confirmation email.
