A good location for a hassle-free stay in Grundarfjordur, The Writer´s Nest is an apartment surrounded by views of the city. The property features a garden, terrace and parking on-site among other facilities. The property has mountain and garden views. When staying at the apartment, guests can use private entrance. Each unit features a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, toaster, fridge, stovetop and kitchenware. Every unit includes a coffee machine, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while selected rooms come with a balcony and some have sea views. The Writer´s Nest apartments are located in the center of Grundarfjörður near to the harbour. The apartments are close to all major amenities with only 2 minutes walk to the local supermarket, drug store and liquor store. Few minutes walk to the harbour and seaside and a variety of restaurants. The house is surrounded by a garden and tall trees with a view over the mountain range.
Græna kompaníið café is located on the ground floot. The café is open from 12-18 every day and offers a selection of homemade cakes, soup and a great organic barista coffee Honest.
*** Unfortunately we've been having problems with messaging and communication with our guests who are not receiving our check in information. The problem has been persistent in the last few months and Booking has not been able to fix it and we don't know when it will be fixed. Therefore we ask that if you book an apartment at the Writer´s Nest you also send us an email to graenakompaniid(at)(gmail)(com) so we can directly send you the check in info. That way we can avoid miscommunication and our guests will have all the necessary information to arrive safely at our accommodation. Thank you.***
